Advisory Boards

Strategic Planning Council (SPC)
Members of the SPC represent a wide range of hospitality firms that operate in many geographic areas, frequently across continents.  Thus, members bring a perspective to our program that helps us infuse worldwide trends and priorities, aiding us in keeping our program at the leading edge of the field.  As senior organizational leaders, members are highly visible advocates who champion our program across the industry.  In addition, their depth of leadership experience and organizational competence enables them to provide counsel in our preparation of students as future industry leaders.

Chicago Advisory Board (CAB)
Members of the CAB provide programmatic guidance through insight into local industry trends and support our program in its operational needs throughout the Chicagoland area.  In addition, members offer their professional networks across the city to help secure support for such key activities as the development of internships and mentoring opportunities, access to businesses for site visits and guest speakers in our classes, and for the recruitment of our graduates.  They act as ambassadors for our program, helping to build identity and brand throughout Chicago so that we attract new students who, upon graduation, can impact the dynamic hospitality industry.
